GALLERY: World Short Track Championships

By all appearances the first ever World Short Track Championships at The Dirt Track at Charlotte, which was held this past weekend, was an incredible success. The event, hosted by DIRTcar, featured 325 drivers across nine divisions.

Corey Gordon emerged victorious in the first WSTC main event for the Pro Late Models. He was followed to the line by Donald Bradsher and Kyle Bronson.

In the UMP Modifieds, it was dirt Mod ace Kyle Strickler who took the victory. Strickler has won major races across the country, including the IMCA Super Nationals. He was very pleased to capitalize on the opportunity to win a big race in front of his home fans.

Other winners include: Rodney Davis (Sportsman Mods); Trey Starks (360 Sprints); Kevin Atkins (Pro Sprints); Buck Stevens (Pro Mods); Mitchell Duvall (Crate Sportsman); Austin Mintz (Mini-Stocks); and Andrew Smith (FWD Hornets).

Special Thanks to Timbo Mangum for letting us strap some Go Pro cameras to his T1 Crate Late Model. Check out this action!
