Get a GOES Appointment while Traveling

Each Friday, we feature a reader-submitted tip as our Travel Tip of the Day. This week's tip comes from reader Joe S., who says:

“My girlfriend and I just signed up for GOES (Global Entry, etc.). The calendar in LAX is booked solid through September already but we managed to get appointments for next weekend at SEA-TAC (Seattle). For frequent travelers, it might be worth just going to a different city altogether if their home base is tough to book.”

A great tip. Especially as we deal with security lines like this one, Global Entry and PreCheck (which comes with Global Entry) can be a huge help. I strongly recommend them. Thanks, Joe!
