Where to Find the Most Unique Form of In-Flight Entertainment
If you fly to Lāna'i or Moloka'i (both in Hawaii) on Hawaiian Airlines' 'Ohana by Hawaiian service (it's really serviced by Empire Airlines, but that's another story), you can ask a flight attendant if you can play one of the three ukuleles gifted to the airline by Aunty Julia Hoe. There are three planes in total, so there's one on each aircraft.
When I flew 'Ohana last week, the flight attendant was shocked when I requested it! He brought it over, apologizing that the case was so dusty, which he attributed to the fact that no one asks for it. Talk about a unique form of in-flight entertainment!
