The Winners from the 2016 Goodguys Scottsdale Southwest Nationals

It's Sunday at the 29th Goodguys Southwest Nationals at WestWorld in Scottsdale, Arizona. That means it's awards day. The full-throttle picking, choosing, deciding, selecting, and judging that's been happening during Friday and Saturday is done. All the yellow stickers the Goodguys stick on headlights to identify the winning vehicles have all been distributed. The cars and trucks that are wearing those stickers (almost 100 of them) are gathered at the winner's circle at the corner of the show. They'll stay there where spectators can view them until early afternoon when all those winners start up at once and cruise past the main stage to collect their awards.

STREET RODDER headed to the winner's circle as soon as we got to the event on Sunday. We weren't involved with the selection process, but like everybody, we had a few of our own secret favorites and were eager to find out if our choices lined up with the Goodguys judges. We also wanted to find out which ten cars had been selected as winners in the Builder's Choice program, held on Saturday. Elsewhere on this website we reported on that program and showed you a bunch of the cars and trucks that showed up on Saturday to be judged Dean's Hot Rod Shop in Phoenix. Keep scrolling and clicking right here to see the 10 Builder's Choice winners, along with most of the other award winners from Goodguys 19th Southwest Nationals.
