Nantahala Brewing Pattons Run Porter, a fall favorite on draft since 2011, releases in bottles this year.

Pattons Run Porter, described as “a sessionable beer that is light in body yet has big roast and semi-sweet chocolate flavors,” compliments the fall season's outdoor activities. “At 4.5% it satisfies people who want to have a few pints without sacrificing flavor,” says brewmaster Greg Geiger.

The Bryson City, NC based brewery offers Pattons Run Porter, named after the first major rapid boaters encounter on the Nantahala River, on draft in their tap room each fall.

This year it will be available in 22oz bottles at Nantahala Brewery on Friday, November 11th.  Following the brewery release will be distribution to Tennessee and Western North Carolina.
