In a recent episode of TODAY, Jeff Rossen reported on a danger posed to many young children in winter that parents may not be aware of. Basically, when a child is wearing a big winter jacket and is strapped into a car seat, the child is usually not strapped in tight enough--which is a huge and life-threatening safety risk.
